Greetings to all our friends and race fans!!!

Well the 2002 race season was not a very good one. We had problems with the engine management computer, the ignition timing would go to full retard at the top of third gear on each of the first 3 runs. We made several refinements to the program but with no success. We made a test run on fuel which requires a complete different program in the computer, hoping that change would give us an idea where the problem might be. The result was not good… same problem…only this time it caused a back fire that blew the air back apart. That set fire to the carburetor float bowls and away it went…lots of fire…one of the float bowls melted. Then the fuel pump emptied the fuel tank on to the fire…lots of fire…as you can imagine the fire did a lot of damage to the engine compartment. Terry was driving and was not hurt, the total fire was contained in the engine area. I guess we won't have to worry about getting the computer fixed, its now just a blob of goo, take a look at the pictures...

Anyway with that behind us we can really say that we're not salt virgins any more!

On to bigger and better things!

Now the good news… we are rebuilding the car from end to end and we are going to run Blown Gas!!!! That's right we're goin TURBO and its coming together nicely. As the project moves along we will be adding new pictures to the site.

So stay tuned and think fast… things are looking up.
