Well we're back from Speed Week with 3 good runs on the car!

Day 1 8/17/99 Driver Don McBride
Run # 1 in One Liter Gas Class
Measured mile Speed 214.105 mph Top speed 216.976
Track conditions Poor, rough, and damp

The car ran good, but the track conditions were poor enough to slow us down a bit.
New computer not working yet.

Day 2 8/17/99 Driver Don McBride

Measured mile Speed 215.154 mph Top speed 218.291mph
Track conditions Better but not by much.

The car ran good, but the track conditions were just ok.
New computer not working yet.

Day 3 8/17/99 Driver Don McBride

Measured mile Speed 214.232mph Top speed 217.292mph
Track conditions Rough and slick.

The car ran good, but the track conditions were poor enough to slow us down. The new computer was finally on line and indicated the rear wheels were turning 10 mph faster that the front tires. The track was just not very good this trip.

We are leaving for Bonneville on Sept. 20 for World of Speed with the USFRA and are hoping for better track conditions.
