McBride & Moreau Racing - Newsletter

Greetings to all our friends and race fans…

As everyone knows we had a very bad fire in 2002, yes that would be 7 years ago now. Life got in way and here we are, the car is completely rebuilt end to end and we will be running the Blown Fuel One Liter Streamliner Class. The class record is held by our friend Rick Yacoucci at 313 mph, the bar is set pretty high…

Ken Collins of Premier Transport of Tacoma Washington has become and active sponsor once again and we are very grateful for his contribution to our racing program.

Terry Kizer of Mr. Turbo has also come on board with a motor program and he will be on the salt with us as well. We are very excited to have Terry on our team.

Don has now retired and is working more now than before, he is building a new home and still has multiple hotrod projects at the body shop.

In the last 7 years Terry has gotten married, built a new shop, new home and new complex for his business and of course worked on the race car just about daily.

We have made countless improvements to the car so take a look at the pictures and see us on the salt, we plan on going to Speed week and World of Speed this season.

The included picture shows all the new bodywork modifications.

Fast Wishes

Terry and Don

My name is Alvin Sample of Newport News, Va. and yours is the first Bonneville team website I have come across.
I do not know of any competitive bonneville teams from our region, or the east coast for that matter.
I have so many questions. But the one I have is where do I get a chassis drawing, or at least some concept of the bonneville chassis, etc. as I have never seen one anywhere but television.
Thanks,
Alvin Sample
